The Protech Story

In 1997 after spending 6 years in the Sanitation Industry, Chris Hagerman seen a need for a company that was not all about selling cleaning supplies and equipment, but a greater need in the Training and Educational side of the business. Customers looked at their Sanitation Supply Company as some who was interested in selling you all kinds of items but not really being there to really help you with your problems and issues.

With this foundation Chris established ProTech Cleaning Solutions. In his hometown. Saint John NB. From humble beginnings and the goal of caring and looking after his customers needs, 24 years later company has grown to a leader in the industry. Serving all three Maritime Provinces from the head office, warehouse and showroom, a new location was opened in 2016 in Halifax to better serve our great customer base in Nova Scotia.

What ever it takes to solve a customer’s cleaning dilemmas, as an example a cleaning company hired by a large grocery chain was having problems getting the floors cleaned. Although they only worked at night the Pro-Tech sales representative joined them at midnight to see what the issue was. He discovered that they were not mixing the solutions properly and along with not cleaning the floors they were wearing the pads on the equipment prematurely, double problem solved by going the extra mile.

Chris and his team of Sanitation Specialists continue to grow and wake up everyday with one goal in mind “Educating Atlantic Canada’s Cleaning Professionals.”
